Breeders: this is an easy way to find stud dogs with health clearances. If you health test, breed occasionally (and not several breeds), you can be listed. This directory has been distributed at dog shows, advertised in show catalogs, Family Pet magazine, Colorado Dogs and Cats magazine, the Rocky Mountain Dog Fancers Guide, Petacular Pet Directory, Buckhorn Valley KC newsletter, the Rocky Mountain News (classifieds), 5280 magazine (April 2008). Stud owners: if you health test, you
can be listed. Breeders and stud dog owners must do
at least one health test, such as CERF eye exam, PennHip or OFA hip x-rays, elbow x-rays, patella, thyroid,
cardiac, temperament, hearing or DNA testing (such as vWD test for Dobermans, PRA test for Mastiffs), etc. A stud dog's/brood
bitch's name and titles can also be listed for an additional $5.00 per dog (free if it has a CHIC #).
